I’m so into my new niche venture that right after I finished Day 3 last night, I continued on to what had been planned as Day 4, I just couldn’t wait (technically it was after midnight so I suppose it was Day 4 after all LOL)! Crowd Mountain is just so clear and detailed that you can’t wait to move on to the next part of your site building and monetization!
Quick recap of previous days’ accomplishments - I created a ’super’ list of niche ideas using the tips Michelle outlined; narrowed that list down to my favs based on specific criteria; started my keyword research to find the new niche I’d pursue and found a great one; selected my domain using the techniques Mich recommends and got a great domain perfect for my niche market (if you’re signed up to Niche Marketing, you got a tip last night on how to save a few bucks when purchasing your domains, if you’re not sign up now and I’ll give it, and others, again later); I installed WP and optimized my site for the search engines; chose my LSI keywords and did some optimization for those; DLed the SEO optimized themes Michelle provides and chose one; DLed the plugins Mich provides (must haves); optimized my site to look fab on cell phones; and a few more things. You can get all of the details by reading the other posts in this series (found at the bottom below my signature).
What I accomplished today:
So Day 4 was Module 3 which is Content Architecture. Content architecture is where you start to get into the nitty gritty. Michelle teaches you great ways to learn your niche and generate content ideas.
So using the techniques and avenues Michelle described (one which I really liked and hadn’t thought of before for niche marketing ) I poked around and learned some more about my new niche and what kinds of content I need to be putting together and publishing. I also figured out the places I need to target to secure my spot on Google’s front page of search results =) I already had an idea of this from the competition analysis I did during the keyword research phase but this was a reminder and a little more insight into what actions I need to take and where my first targeted places will be.
I figured out what my niche market is looking for and exactly how to give them what they want using the content analysis tips Mich gave.
I systematically mined long-tail keywords to start building my initial content around and developed a plan for how I will attack my secondary keywords in terms of long-tail phrases and best approach to start getting my initial traffic…and money. It’s all coming together and gelling so nicely.
In this module, Michelle even turns you on to a few more AMAZING plugins that any marketer should be using. These plugins will help you develop your content and rank, and they give you content that is a Google magnet in more ways than one! I can’t wait to start using them to simplify and enhance my content development!
Using another technique Michelle covers (remember in this site build, I’m only using the steps Mich gives - after it’s all rolling, I’ll probably implement some other techniques but for now, I’m strictly sticking to her process so that you can see how amazing it is), I created another avenue of quickly and easily publishing content that Google will give me some favor points for so it’s totally ready to go and now all I have to do is start using it (which literally takes just a few clicks).
Module 3 is completed and I’m ready to start publishing some content and move on to Module 4 which is the Monetization Station where I’m going to start installing the money!
You can start working on your own niche (new or existing) in Crowd Mountain for $1. I keep saying this because I can’t stress it enough - whether you’re a new marketer or an experienced one, there’s TONS of value inside. Not only is the value just ridiculous, but the ’system’ just makes it that much easier and organized, ensuring that you don’t miss one single step, tool or tip! (If you missed some of the tools included, be sure to check out Day 3’s post or the original “The Most Complete Internet Marketing Course”.)
Please come back for Day 5. I’m excited to report what fab accomplishments I make next and I want to share them with you!!
