Twitter is such a big deal that there are endless amounts of Twitter clients, tools and resources dedicated to it.

This is a list of various Twitter resources.  Some are just fun, some can help you get yourself seen, some help you find others to connect with, and some let you do things like share files, create polls, schedule Tweets for later, and even snooze someone whose Tweets you want a break from!

This is by no means a complete list, there are a crazy amount of Twitter resources out there…this is just a list of my favs (does not include Twitter clients).

Let the fun begin!

Twitter Search lets you search for key terms.

TweetGrid lets you see timelines, in many forms, in grid form including your friends timelines and timelines for certain serch terms.  Check out their “How To” on their website, the videos really give you some insight into how valuable this can be.

TwitterPacks Twitter people broken down into lists like “topic” “interests” “location” “company” and “events or meetups”.

Cotweet is a Twitter business platform powering brands on Twitter.  It allows you to assign tasks, track followups, automatically include signatures and more.  Currently in private beta stage, and accepting limited users.

Twitter Link Up lets you add your profile, search for people in your niche and connect with them, chat, and write a mini blog and feed it into Twitter (I haven’t really had the time to do the latter).

Twuffer lets you schedule Tweets to be posted later.  Among other things, this is great for spreading out Tweets if you’re strategically posting.

Tweetlater also lets you schedule Tweets to “Tweet later”.

Twitter Groups is exactly that, Twitter Groups where you can connect with others.  You can also find and promote events in your area, vote for “News Media” people, rates sites and a lot more.  And you can follow people on LinkedIn, Facebook and MySpace too.

ExecTweets lets you find, follow and recommend Execs on Twitter.

TwtPoll lets you create Twitter polls.

FeaturedUsers is a paid application ad network.  You purchase impressions and your Twitter profile is featured on Twitter apps in the network.  I haven’t personally tried it but I’ve heard some good things.

Twibes Lets you recommend people to be followed and send those recommendations to your followers.  You can also create and join Twibes (groups).

WeFollow Twitter directory.  Add yourself and find others by tag.  When you add yourself you’ll need to tag yourself with 3 tags, it will then send a Tweet from your profile stating that you’ve just added yourself to WeFollow under those 3 tags.

FriendorFollow allows you to see who you’re following that’s not following you back and who is following you that you’re not following back.  it also lets you see who you are following that is following you back.  Notice the tabs at the top that let you see each query (following, fans, friends).

Twitalyzer evaluates the activity of a Twitter user.  It reports on activity including relative influence, signal-to-noise ratio, generosity, velocity, and clout.  It also allows you to evaluate brand activity and has a Twitalyzer search function.  This is a really cool tool!

Adjix – Adjix is a URL shortener but it also implements the ability to track the links you shorten and post.  You can also earn money from links (you WILL NOT get rich anytime soon from it) but the tracking function is what’s really cool about it.

Tweetburner also allows you to shorten and track links.

Linkbun.ch lets you bunch multiple links into one link.  You enter a list of links and it returns one small link that you can use to send people to your list.

Microrevie.ws Submit your reviews via Twitter and they’re turned into the hreview microformat and they get indexed.

TwitterCritic is film reviews by Twitterers.

TwitterRemote is a widget that shows which Twitter users recently visited your site or blog.

SecretTweet is just entertaining!  You can submit secret tweets that are anonymous and say anything you want.  The fun part is reading others secret tweets!

12seconds lets you upload 12 second videos and share it via Twitter and other platforms.

Twideo also lets you share videos via Twitter updates.  As well as being available via web and webcam, you can share them via your cameraphone.

Twitter Job Search does exactly that.  Lets you search for jobs posted on Twitter.

TweetMyJobs Tweets new job postings to you.

TweetWorks is basically organized Twitter conversations.  You can post to the public timeline, create and join groups, talk about whatever topic you want, and have the option to post your Tweet to Twitter which will include your Tweet and a link to the discussion on TweetWorks…and all convos are threaded which makes it pretty neat and easy to follow.

Twitter Grader grades Twitter users.  It ranks them, grades them and shows the follower/following trend for that user.  You can Tweet the report, report the user as spam or not spam to Twitter Grader  and find out if that person is following you.  I got a 98.4 =) It also shows the “Twitter Elite”.

TwitterFriends shows all kinds of stuff!  You can get a report on a Twitter account that includes, among other things, stats on who has replied to you, loyalty, rank, average Tweets sent per day, average Tweet length, conversatin quotient, reTweet quotient, links posted per day, visualize your network and a whole lot of other stuff!  You can also see which of your friends are online now, check out the most conversational Twitterers and see who is posting the most links.  Pretty cool!

Twellow is the Twitter Yellow Pages.  You may already be added to Twellow but if you’re not you can add yourself.  You can create an extended bio and add yourself to categories.  Of course, you can search for and check out others here too.  You can also subscribe to “Pulses” (categories) and see discussions being had on Twitter about those categories/keywords.

TweetStats graphs your Twitter stats including Tweets per hour and per month; and, your Tweet timeline and reply stats.

TwitterVision – shows you a map and who is Tweeting what, and from where.

TwitterBuzz shows you the most popular links on Twitter.

Twist shows trends in Twitter.

TwitterHolics shows the top Twitterers.  You can check your own stats too.  I ranked number 1 for my location =)

WhoShouldIFollow helps you find people to follow.

GroupTweet lets broadcast group messages, they can be private or public.

TwittBot which I really like lets you create a group page that can be closed or open.  Closed means only people you have added as authors can post to the group page.  This is great for creating a page that is about a specific topic or for your company.  I recently implemented this for one of my clients.  You can check it out at IACProfessional.  As you can see, everyone in the company can posts Tweets to it and the author’s name is shown at the end (optional where it appears and if it appears); this makes it easy for clients or others to see what the whole crew is up to.

Twitterator lets you follow a group of people at one time, either by entering a URL that contains a list of Twitter users or by manually entering a list of users.

Twitzer is a Firefox addon that lets you post more than 140 characters and saves the overage at shorttext.com and provides a link to the overage.

Hashtags lets you see what keywords/tags are being talked about on Twitter.  You can also view trends and people.

SnapTweeet lets you share your Flickr pictures on Twitter.

MobyPicture allows you to share media (photos, text, audio and video) from your phone to Twitter and other social networks.

TweetCube lets you share files via Twitter (zip, pdf, mp3, txt and more)

TweetChannel allows you to create “Channels” for your Tweets and keep up with channels. Most channels seem to be pretty dead but I can think of a few possible uses for this.

TwitSay lets you Tweet an audio recording.

Twubble lets you find Twitterers you might like to follow by searching your friend graph.

SiteVolume is kind of like Alexa.  You can compare words across Twitter and a couple of other social sites to see how often they appear on that site.

TwitterMeter is also similar to Alexa in that lets you see how often a word is used on Twitter and you can compare multiple words.

TweetVolume also shows how often a word is used on Twitter and lets you compare up to five words or phrases.

TwitterMeThis is a game where you get paid if you win!  You follow @twittermethis and a question is randomly thrown out.  If you’re the first to answer correctly, you immediately get $5 to your PayPal account.

TwitterAnswers lets you ask questions and have them answered by people.  You can also answer questions.

Quitter helps people quit smoking by utilizing Twitter to track how many cigarettes they smoked, create a journal, and track progress.

TwitterSnooze lets you snooze people…like an alarm clock!  If you have someone whose Tweets you don’t want to see for however long, just snooze them!

LocalTweeps shows “Tweeps” near you.  Add yourself.  See which cities and states are at the top or do a search.

What are your favs?
