Man, it’s been a long time since I did a “What They Said” post! And I think a couple of them had something to do with Alejandro Reyes and Michelle MacPhearson LOL. But hey, if you’ve got something good, you’ve got something good!

So anyways, Alejandro did an interview with Michelle and she talks about:

(quote from Alejandro’s blog)

- How to bounce back from a major setback
- Michelle talking about the “Lifestyle” that she has been able to create
- How you can still do what you’re passionate about even when you’re not excited about a certain niche (this was the “Aha” moment for me – 25:01)
- How to use Social Media from an SEO standpoint (gives a GREAT how-to)
- If the corn removal market is a good niche to get in
- What 2 things kept Michelle going as an entrepreneur

It’s a good interview with, as always, valuable information from Michelle.  Michelle is my mentor and good friend and was my ‘proof in the pudding’ years ago of what could be accomplished utilizing Social Media.

One of the great points she addresses is about managing a social presence. She mentions that you should only choose 2 or 3 to be active on while still having a presence on other networks.

This makes everything manageable because there’s no way, unless you have a team that’s doing a lot of it for you, that you can be active on 10, 15 or more but you certainly should be able to be found there.  Consider those sites as ‘hub pages’ of sorts, to be utilized to drive people to your website (if they were searching for something you offer) or to drive them to the networks you’re more active on (and to give your links some juice).
